Recently, I was picking up our oldest son from school after a field trip. The class was running behind schedule and I sat to speak with our son’s teacher from the previous year. In both scenarios, we have an obligation as a parent to make that relationship right, to make it functional and healthy. It continues to be a process but, if we are committed to making it work, then our children will benefit.
